For a specialised international audit firm, we are looking for a hands-on Audit Manager to take ownership of high-level audit engagements — fully remote, technically deep, and globally impactful.

Our client is a specialised audit boutique led by a Dutch-registered auditor with extensive international experience. The firm provides high-quality IFRS audit and consolidation services to multinational companies operating across various jurisdictions, including Latin America, North America, and Europe.

They focus on high-complexity assignments such as multi-entity group audits, first-time IFRS adoptions, backlogs, and complex consolidations involving multiple currencies, time zones, and languages. With a lean structure and international delivery model, the firm operates efficiently while maintaining top-tier technical quality. Thanks to strong relationships with Big 4 offices worldwide, the firm consistently works on high-impact international audits — supported by its own team of auditors based abroad. To strengthen the team, a senior Audit Manager is sought to act as the operational and technical bridge between key stakeholders.

Functie

As International Audit Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Coordinating and reviewing complex IFRS audit files, including multi-entity consolidations
Acting as the main link between the firm’s founder and the audit support team
Acting as a technical lead and reviewer for our group audits in accordance with ISA 600
Maintain direct relationships with clients and ensure clear communication and reporting across time zones
Join the founder on international client visits, which may include travel to South America and other key regions, with frequency varying from year to year.
Drive efficiency, quality, and consistency across all stages of the audit process

This is a high-trust, high-autonomy role suited for someone who enjoys ownership and technical depth.

Functie-eisen

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A completed RA qualification (or equivalent)
At least 7 years of audit experience, including several years as Manager at a Big 4 firm
Strong IFRS knowledge and experience with complex international group audits
Native or near-native fluency in Spanish
Excellent written and verbal English skills
Willingness to travel internationally multiple times a year
Solid communication skills and the ability to operate independently in a remote environment
Experience with Latin American clients or Spanish-speaking multinationals is a plus.

Aanbod

Salary: €4.500 – €6.000 gross per month, depending on experience
