Are you a Big 4-trained Audit Manager looking for more technical depth, autonomy, and direct impact, without the bureaucracy? For a specialised international audit firm, we are looking for a hands-on Audit Manager to take the lead in complex group audits. Fully remote, technically challenging, and globally oriented.

Our client is a boutique audit firm led by a Dutch-registered auditor with extensive international experience. The firm provides high-quality IFRS audit and consolidation services to multinational clients across Europe and Latin America, with strong ties to Big 4 offices worldwide.

They focus on high-complexity assignments: group audits, first-time IFRS adoptions, backlogs, and consolidations across multiple time zones, currencies, and languages. With a lean and highly skilled setup, the team works fully remote and delivers premium-quality audits in close cooperation with global clients.

Functie

As Audit Manager, you will act as the technical and operational bridge between the founder, clients, and the audit support team. You will:

Review IFRS audit files and group consolidations (ISA 600)
Coordinate projects and manage the remote audit team
Communicate directly with clients and stakeholders across time zones
Contribute to audit planning, execution, and delivery
Join client visits across the globe, approximately 6 international trips per year
Help improve quality and efficiency across engagements

This is a high-trust role for someone who enjoys autonomy, impact, and technical depth.

Functie-eisen

To succeed in this role, you should have:

RA or equivalent post-master qualification
At least 7 years of audit experience, including Manager-level at a Big 4 firm
Strong IFRS and international group audit expertise
Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is not required)
Based in the Netherlands (work permit and current residence required)
Willingness to travel internationally around 6 times a year
Proactive and self-sufficient work style in a remote environment

Experience with Latin American clients or Spanish-speaking multinationals is a plus, but not required.
